This release is a special one for me.

When I finished the original track a few months ago, I immediately had the idea to have it reinterpreted by a select group of people.

EASTMYND is a producer friend of mine from the Düsseldorf area (originally from the UK) who delivers a wonderful minimal version of the track with his remix.

PTTY is a fellow German producer based in Erfurt who has developed his own unmistakable signature sound over the years. His version flows beautifully toward deep house.

Ian Oskadev lives in Prague and has already made a name for himself with releases on labels like RAWAX. His remix adds a striking vocal sample to the original and features a driving groove.

The whole thing was a really fun project, because not only do these three make great music, but they’re also just really nice people with whom I enjoy discussing music.

As with all my releases, the EP was mastered by the one and only Perla Audio.

For this track, I literally collaborated with myself …

Joking aside: “Dos años” is the musical intersection between my two monikers, Still No Jazz and Magasine.

That’s why I decided to release the track under both names.

My second Vinyl EP is out now!

Thank You My Sun has four upbeat tracks that fit somewhere between house, tech house, and minimal.

Tracklist:
(A1) Joy
(A2) Artistico
(B1) Klimduin
(B2) Mistral

The opener, “Joy”, is captivating with a soulful choir phrase, which sets the mood for the whole piece.

Up next is “Artistico,” a minimal track with an emphatic bassline and powerful percussion.

On the B-side, “Klimduin” takes a chill ten minutes to deliver some minimalist magic.

The EP ends with “Mistral”, a dance-worthy track with its rolling drum arrangement and floating synth figures.

Thanks again to Perla Audio for the excellent vinyl mastering.

You’re welcome to order the EP on my Bandcamp page.

It’s finally here: my first vinyl EP!

When I started releasing seriously about a year ago, I never expected to be holding my first record in my hands today.

Hence the title Unexpected.

Yet it had always been my dream. So, at the end of last year, I decided to release four tracks that sit somewhere between Deep House, Tech House and Techno as an EP on vinyl.

Also to learn how the whole process surrounding a vinyl release works.

Of course you can’t do this on your own.

That’s why I’m grateful to Perla Audio for the excellent vinyl mastering.

And to Wax Distribution for handling the entire vinyl production process and worldwide distribution.

In line with a ‘vinyl first’ strategy, this EP will initially be available on vinyl only. The digital release will follow later.

Tracklist:
(A1) Unexpected
(A2) Still Missing
(B1) Crash & Bang
(B2) Sheltered Place

Side A opens with the title track “Unexpected,” a hypnotic journey through evolving synths and crisp percussion.

Following seamlessly is “Still Missing,” a soulful cut infused with emotive melodies and rolling sub-bass.

Flip to Side B for “Crash & Bang,” which thrives on a hypnotizing polymeter figure over which intimate string sounds evolve.

The EP closes with “Sheltered Place,” a serene retreat of warm pads and playful percussion perfect for moody after-hours sessions.

You’re welcome to order the EP on my Bandcamp page.

2026 kicks off with a fresh tech house release: Time Is Up captivates with a memorable rhythm pattern that rolls along in symbiosis with various percussion instruments. Sparingly instrumented old-school synth sounds add the necessary splashes of color.

Human Connection is the essence of human existence. Everything we do and feel happens in the context of social relationships.

Unfortunately, the blessings of modernity mean that human connections are increasingly being lost.

We retreat into our digital refuges and simulate connection through (anti)social media, which serves to alienate us even more from one another.

Alarmingly, therapy and companionship are among the most common use cases for AI these days.

This album is a reminder that real human relationships cannot be replaced and never will be. Let´s nurture and celebrate our togetherness.

Preferably with good music on the dance floor. Cheers!
